It takes a Village
This image has been in circulation across the internet for many years and, yet, nothing has changed. Every year many teachers spend their own money in order to decorate, organize and stock their classrooms with essential items. Most teachers spend countless amounts of money in order to ensure that each student has what he or she needs to be successful. As a teacher, I personally know that a year of classroom supplies can be pretty expensive.
Here is where you all come in. My goal is to help with the cost of classroom supplies. I am asking for donations so we can help fund classrooms and lessen the burden for many hardworking teachers.
Once teachers are nominated and chosen via our social media account, they will provide a list of classroom needs and we will do what we can in order to fulfill their provided list.
The amount of donations received will determine how much assistance that we can provide. Since most schools will be virtual at the start of the school year, we also want to assist parents and families who are in need of school supplies.
